Most animal emergency clinics have doctors on-call or can provide you with referrals to another emergency pet hospitals. • Any suspect of broken bones.
  • Seizures.

  • You see signs of extreme pain.
  • Your pet is disoriented.
  • Your pet’s abdomen is swollen.
  • The delivering process of your pet has gone more than 3-4 hours between the delivering babies.

What to do

If you see any of the above symptoms or feel suspicious about any serious problems, always directly touch with an animal emergency clinic. And here leaving messages or voicemails is UNACCEPTABLE.

The first step is to call your personal veterinarian. As a rule accredited animal emergency clinics will always have a person answering the phone
24-hours a day or if there is no person you will get a recorded message which will refer you to another emergency hospital. If you are in an unknown city, you can check the accredited hospital in a special locator tool to find an accredited hospital close to your location to get an appropriate laser therapy for the pet. The Canadian Red Cross also provides first aid for pets to help you find a veterinarian in case of emergencies.

A very important thing to remember! When you decide to bring your dearest pet for emergency treatment, always be sure that you know where you are going and how to bring your pet there in a safe way. For example, if you are not sure about the place you are going then even simple dog laser therapy may appear to be dangerous! In case you have some questions about any issues concerning your ill or injured pet, never hesitate to call the hospital and ask!
